The “Gettin’ Ready” playlist is exactly what it sounds like. When you’re going out with your friends and ready to turn up or you need a pick me up before a nervous tinder date, this is the right playlist for you.

I made this playlist mostly because as a young college student going out a partying is bound to happen and getting pumped while putting on makeup is usually the way to go. If you haven’t done this yet, I truly recommend it. It will change your life (the music, not the makeup).

 

This playlist consists of artists like Summer Walker, Jhene Aiko, and Nelly. The music selected will get you in the mood for anything flirty and fun, but can hype you up for a boring day at work. I think artists like Summer Walker add a fuck you, but love me feel to the playlist, while TLC’s “No Scrubs” gives a sprinkle of women empowerment in the mix, which is great for anyone looking to add some empowerment into their favorites. With all of the bangers in the playlist, I feel as though Jhene Aiko incorporated into the playlist makes the gettin’ ready process a lot more calm. Overall it is a great mix of energy.
