R&B throwbacks are typically the best, in my opinion. They remind you of memories, good or bad, and makes you think about what your generation considers a throwback.

 

 

 

 

Since I am a Gen X baby my “Throwbacks” playlist consists of Usher, Fugees, Ashanti, and Mariah Carey. To others these may not even be considered their throwbacks, but I feel as though everyone’s throwbacks are very personal to them. Some songs in the playlist are songs my parents listened to on the radio on our way to school are memories I hold within music. 

I feel as though, all the artists featured in this playlist are diverse in sound and generation. Although this playlist is not a clean version I think it would be a great playlist to put on during a family barbecue, etc. I put this playlist together to enjoy the old days (or at least what I consider, the old days) and to look back on the great tunes of the past. Overall, throwbacks are great and I don’t think anyone needs convincing as to why throwbacks are amazing! Point. Blank. Period.
